Note: These hourly locality rates apply to employees who meet the definition of "wildland firefighter" in 5 U.S.C. 5332a and receive special base rates under that section for service on or after March 23, 2025. Also, the wildland firefighter special base rate for GS-10, step 1, is used in computing the applicable title 5 overtime hourly rate cap under 5 U.S.C. 5542 and 5 CFR 550.113 for all FLSA-exempt wildland firefighters.
